These terms govern your use of Trusty Tradies Australia (TTA) and any services you purchase through the platform. By accessing the site or creating a listing, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at hello@trustytradies.com.au before proceeding.

1. About Trusty Tradies Australia

Trusty Tradies Australia (“TTA”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian online business directory connecting tradies, service providers, and local businesses with homeowners, SMEs, and consumers across Australia. TTA is operated by Web-Sta Web Design (ABN: [INSERT ABN]).

2. Who Can Use TTA

TTA is available to Australian businesses and consumers aged 18 and over. By creating a listing or purchasing a service, you confirm that:

•       you are authorised to act on behalf of the business you represent;
•       the business or service you list operates in Australia;
•       the information you supply is accurate and current.

We do not accept listings for adult-industry businesses, businesses operating outside Australia, or businesses we determine to be deceptive, spammy, or fraudulent. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing without notice.

3. Directory Listings

3.1  Listing fee

A standard directory listing costs $1 AUD per month, or $10 AUD for 12 months paid upfront. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable.

3.2  What your listing includes

Each active listing displays your business name, logo, image gallery (up to [X] images), website and social media links, phone number, email address, and business bio.

3.3  Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing content. TTA does not verify the qualifications, licences, insurance, or trading status of listed businesses. Consumers use the directory at their own discretion.

3.4  Renewal

Monthly listings renew automatically via direct debit unless cancelled in writing at least 7 days before the next billing date. Annual listings are billed upfront and do not auto-renew unless you opt in.

3.5  Cancellations and refunds

Monthly listings can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. Annual listings are non-refundable once the listing has gone live, except where required by Australian Consumer Law. 

4. Listing Optimisation Service

4.1  Scope

The optional Listing Optimisation Service is a one-off fee of $55 AUD. We rewrite your business bio for search visibility on TTA and Google, and correct image and logo display issues (excluding blurry or low-resolution source files). We send you the revised bio for approval before publishing.

4.2  Turnaround

We aim to deliver your optimised bio within [X] business days of receiving all required materials. Delays caused by slow approval or incomplete information from you may extend this timeframe.

4.3  Revisions

The fee includes one round of revisions based on your feedback. Additional revision rounds are quoted separately.

4.4  No guarantee of ranking

We write and optimise your bio according to SEO best practice, but we make no guarantee of specific search rankings on TTA, Google, or any other platform.

5. Sponsored Advertising

5.1  Eligibility

Sponsored ad placements are available to trade-adjacent brands, suppliers, insurers, and service providers targeting Australian tradies and homeowners. Directory listings and the Sponsored Advertising product are separate and governed by separate agreements.

5.2  Pricing and placement

Sponsored placements are $30 AUD per month on a 12-month direct-debit agreement. Ads appear across TTA homepage, blog posts, sidebar, and newsletter (where active). Placement positions are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited in number.

5.3  Ad creative

You are responsible for supplying ad creative to TTA specifications. The first 20 sponsors receive a complimentary ad design by TTA. Ad content must comply with Australian Consumer Law and all applicable advertising standards. TTA reserves the right to decline or remove ad creative that does not meet these requirements.

5.4  Cancellations

Sponsored advertising agreements run for a minimum of 12 months. Early termination is not available unless both parties agree in writing. Outstanding payments for the remainder of the term remain due on termination

6. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed via [INSERT PAYMENT GATEWAY]. By providing your payment details, you authorise TTA to charge the applicable fees on the billing schedule for your chosen product. Failed payments may result in suspension of your listing or ad placement. We will notify you of a failed payment before suspending your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All TTA website content, branding, and The Toolbox resources are owned by or licenced to TTA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

By uploading content to your listing, you grant TTA a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform and in promotional materials for TTA. You confirm you hold the rights to any content you upload.

8. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your listing contact details are publicly displayed as part of the directory product.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share aggregate, de-identified usage data with partners or for research purposes.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TTA is a directory platform only. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality, licensing, or trading status of any listed business. Consumers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging a tradie or service provider found through TTA.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TTA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the directory, reliance on listed information, or any transaction between a consumer and a listed business.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you hold under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Third-Party Links and Resources

TTA links to third-party platforms including Buy Me a Coffee (buymeacoffee.com/trustytradies), Web-Sta Web Design, and Karen Ahl Inc. These are independent services. TTA takes no responsibility for their content, availability, or practices.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TTA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts
